Cindy Brown PMHNP

With over five years of experience as a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner, I am also proud to hold certification as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My journey has been guided by a deep-seated passion for enabling individuals to become their best selves. This zeal led me back to the classroom to pursue advanced training in psychiatric care.

Embracing the rich diversity of human experiences, I am particularly dedicated to fostering an environment that cherishes the neurodivergent perspective and embraces members of the LGBTQ+ community who may be navigating the complexities of their mental health, as well as insightful support for high-masking neurodivergent individuals who desire to have a practitioner see and acknowledge them beyond the mask.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have personally confronted the challenges of prejudice and non-affirming societal attitudes. This personal experience equips me to connect with others on a profound level. My ultimate objective is to forge a sanctuary where every individual feels not just welcomed, but also seen, heard, and understood.

My approach to care is rooted in open-mindedness and affirmation, ensuring that every person who seeks support can do so with the confidence that their unique identity will be respected and celebrated. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your journey, helping you rise above conflicts with grace and resilience.

In my practice, I offer comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including evaluations for Autism and ADHD, alongside specialized medication management services. I understand the importance of flexibility, which is why I offer payment plans to make care accessible to all. Additionally, my experience extends to working with high masking individuals, providing them with the understanding and support they need to thrive.
