Values & Commitments
-
Cultural Humility
We approach every client with openness, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning, honoring the complexities of each person’s cultural and lived experience.
-
Neurodivergent-Affirming Care
We celebrate neurodiversity and reject pathologizing approaches, offering support that honors different ways of thinking, sensing, and being in the world. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to mental healthcare.
-
Client Expertise
We believe you are the expert in your own experience. Our role is to walk alongside you—not to lead, fix, or define your journey. We are committed to avoiding implicit bias, medical gaslighting, and assumptions. We are experts in mental health care, and you are the expert on what it is like to be you.
-
Whole-Person Care
We recognize that mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum. We consider the full picture—body, mind, community, identity, and environment—in every step of care.
-
LGBTQ+ Affirming
We provide care that affirms, celebrates, and supports the full spectrum of gender and sexual identities.
-
Trauma-Informed Practice
We understand the impact of trauma and center safety, choice, and empowerment in all of our services.
-
Systemic Awareness
We recognize how systems—social, medical, educational, and political—affect mental health and aim to provide care that resists oppressive structures.
-
Authenticity & Humanity
We show up as real people. We value warmth, humor, humility, and the human connection at the heart of healing.
-
Quality & Integrity
We are committed to providing the highest standard of care, grounded in clinical expertise, ethical practice, and genuine human connection.
The No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate
A Public Notice
Under recent legislation, health care providers are now required to provide a “Good Faith Estimate” to patients who don’t have insurance, or patients who are not using insurance for healthcare services. Since Reclaimed Divergence does not accept any insurance plans, you have the right to receive this estimate, which will outline the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services you may schedule for. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
To best protect your rights, ensure that your health care provider provides you with a Good Faith Estimate at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill, so please make sure that you save a copy or take a photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
